Product Description:
Industrial-grade monoammonium phosphate, known as ammonium dihydrogen phosphate in Chinese (TMAP), has the chemical formula NH4H2PO4 and a molecular weight of 115.03.This substance is in the form of a white powder or granular material, with granular products having high particle compressive strength. It has a melting point of 190°C, a density of 1.803 at 18°C, and a solubility of 41.6 g/100g at 25°C. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution is 4.5.
It is easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, and insoluble in dimethyl ketone. It remains stable at room temperature, lacks redox properties, and does not combust or explode when exposed to high temperatures, acids, alkalis, or redox substances. This substance has good solubility in water and acids, with the powdered form being somewhat hygroscopic. Furthermore, it exhibits excellent thermal stability and dehydrates at high temperatures to form viscous chain compounds such as ammonium pyrophosphate, ammonium polyphosphate, and ammonium metaphosphate.

In industry, Mono-ammonium phosphate is primarily utilized as a fire-prevention agent for fabric, timber, and paper. Additionally, it is used as a fire-prevention coating and as dry powder for fire extinguishers.
In agriculture:
When it comes to agriculture, Mono-ammonium phosphate serves as a highly effective non-chloride N, P compound fertilizer. It is a total water-soluble and highly effective drip irrigation fertilizer. Suitable for all kinds of food crops and economical crops, its total nourishment containing nitrogen and phosphorus reaches 73%. Moreover, it can be employed as a fundamental raw material for N, P, and K compound fertilizers.
