Product Description:

Potassium dihydrogen phosphate, commonly referred to as Monopotassium phosphate and abbreviated as MKP, has the chemical formula KH2PO4.

It appears as white crystals or white powder, is odorless, and stable in air. With a relative density of 2.338, its melting point is 96℃. When heated to 400℃, it transforms into potassium pyrophosphate by losing water.

This compound easily dissolves in water but is insoluble in ethanol. In its aqueous form, it exhibits acidity with a pH range of 4.4 to 4.7.

Applications:

Technical grade MKP is a highly efficient source of phosphorus and potassium for plants. It is suitable for root fertilization and foliar spraying, which is recommended to use at the beginning of the growing and fruit season when phosphorus and potash availability is crucial for the establishment of root systems.
