Moreover, it possesses low hygroscopicity, meaning it has a low tendency to absorb moisture from the environment.

When subjected to heat, calcium dihydrogen phosphate easily loses its crystallization water at 109°C. At even higher temperatures around 203°C, the compound decomposes into calcium metaphosphate. This transformation signifies a change in the chemical structure of the substance under extreme heat conditions.
