Alias: Calcium hydrogen phosphate is also known as Dicalcium Phosphate (DCP). It has a molecular formula of CaHPO4.2H2O and a molecular weight of 172.10.

Easily soluble in dilute Hydrochloric Acid, dilute Nitric Acid, and Acetic Acid, DCP is low in solubility in water and insoluble in alcohol. It has low moisture absorption and starts losing its crystal water at 90 degrees Celsius. Beyond 400 degrees Celsius, it converts to calcium pyrophosphate.

Feed Grade Dicalcium Phosphate (DCP) is utilized to provide essential mineral nutrition, including phosphorus and calcium, that can be easily digested and absorbed by animals. This supplement can promote animal growth, reduce the fattening period, and increase weight gain, breeding rates, and survival rates. Additionally, it boosts animals' resistance to diseases such as rickets, dysentery, and palsy.

Feed Grade DCP is available in two options: one with 17% and the other with 18% phosphorous content. It comes in both powder and granular forms. The Granular DCP is produced from Powder DCP through machine-pressing, without any caking agents. The granular form minimizes powder dust, making the working environment better and decreasing product loss. Furthermore, it can be effectively assimilated by remaining in the animal's stomach for a longer duration.
