Alias of Calcium hydrogen phosphate is Dicalcium Phosphate [ DCP ] with a molecular formula of CaHPO ₄ ·2H ₂ O and molecular weight of 172.10 .

Easily soluble in dilute Hydrochloric Acid , dilute Nitric Acid and Acetic Acid , low soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, with low moisture absorption, it begins to lose its crystal water at 90 degree Celsius and convert to calcium pyrophosphate above 400 degree Celsius .

Feed Grade DCP is utilized to provide essential mineral nutrition, such as phosphorus and calcium, that can be easily digested and absorbed by animals. This helps accelerate animal growth and development, reducing the time needed for animals to reach maturity and increasing weight gain, breeding rates, and survival rates. Additionally, it boosts animals' resistance to diseases such as rickets, dysentery, and palsy.

There are two types of Feed Grade DCP available: one with 17% phosphorus content and the other with 18% phosphorus content. These products are offered in both powder and granular forms. The Granular DCP is produced from the Powder DCP through machine-pressing, without the addition of any caking agents. The granular form results in less powder, which improves working conditions and reduces product loss. Moreover, its granular composition allows for better assimilation in the animal stomach, enhancing efficiency.
